Unfortunately Leven Miniatures are unable to attend this year but we've got Geek Villain to fill their spot! Bringing a range of fleece gaming mats, they'll be adding something different to the event. And with that last booking, we now have our completed layout:
Sadly Midlam Miniatures and Games of War are not able to attend this year, but we're pleased to announce that 1525 Miniatures will be making their debut at Battleground 2019!
Baccus 6mm and Ironclad Miniatures are coming to Battleground again this year, and we've also had the game details in from the Stafford and Border Reiver clubs!
More games confirmed now with the Tyneside Gaming Club, Yorkshire Coast Gamers and the Westerhope Wargames Group are all booked in! We're also pleased to announce the return of the Independent Wargames Group after a brief break in 2018! On the trader side, The Last Valley and Eagle Figures are now confirmed as well.
We've got a new club attending Battleground this year, with the Grimsby Wargames Society joining us for the first time! They'll be bringing a 10mm WWII game with them so make sure to pop by and check it out. We've also had another trader confirmation from Marching in Colour!
We've got more Games booked in now, with Generals & Kings, Prince Bishops Wargames Club and Vince Usher all booked in for the event! We've also got another new trader with Mighty Lancer Games making the short journey up from Bridlington to attend for the first time.
We've had some more bookings for this year's show, with David Lanchester Military Books now confirmed as well as Iacta Alea Est, Something to do With Dice and Nate Zettle on the Games side. We can also announce our next new trader for 2019 is Bow & Blade Games!
Finally, we're very happy to announce that the Battlefields Trust are returning to Battleground 2019! They'll be putting on a pair of historical talks and product launches, as well as bringing a brand new model for the Battle of Guisborough! More info on this can be found on the new Talks page.
The bookings are now open for our Tabletop Sale, so get in touch and we'll get you booked in! We've also had confirmed on some of the games, so Colin Ashton, Brompton Bankers, Redcar Ironbeards and Durham Wargames Group are all returning for 2019!
Cozzmic Cakes will be returning with both their trade stand and excellent Cake Wars game! We've sent out the booking forms for all of the games now so we'll be updating the Games page as we get the details back in.
We've got our first batch of traders booked in now, with Colonel Bill's, Crooked Dice, Galloping Major, Gaming Figures, Games of War, Hoka Hey, Irongate Scenery, Last Valley, Lesley's Bits Box, Leven Miniatures, Newline Designs, Northumbrian Painting Services, Sarissa Precision, Warbases and Warlord Games all booked in now! And our first new trader for 2019 is... Scotia Grendel and all of their 6mm loveliness!
3rd June 2019
We'll be starting the organisation for the 2019 show very soon, so keep checking back for updates!
We always work to bring the best traders and the widest selection of hobby related products along to the event, so keep an eye out for some new additions for 2019!
We're always trying to bring the best selection of both display and participation games to the show, some presented by local games clubs and others by traders demo'ing their wares.
We'll be updating the games lists from August onwards, so keep checking back!
Living history groups are a great addition to any event, and we'll have some interesting groups attending Battleground 2019.
