The Battleground wargames show takes place in the Queens Campus Sports Hall, in Stockton-on-Tees, TS17 6BH.  The venue is conveniently located at the side of the A66, with space for over 300 cars in the main car park.  Thornaby train station is only 0.5 miles away, and several bus routes stop right outside the campus.  There is a cash point onsite in the Holliday building, however we advise bringing cash where possible in case the machine is out of action.

For 2018, the catering was provided by the Bakers Cabin who were situated outside the main hall entrance.

For those travelling from further afield, there is a Premier Inn hotel less than 1 mile away at the Tees Barrage, which also provides restaurant facilities.

Also nearby is Teesside Retail & Leisure Park, where visitors can enjoy restaurants, bowling and cinema on the leisure side, and a multitude of shopping facilities on the retail side, all with free parking available.

onto Harvard Avenue, signposted 'University Campus', with

the glass fronted buildings on your right.

Continue down this road, past the entrance to Stockton

Riverside College, until you reach another roundabout.  Turn

right here, signposted 'University of Durham'.  As you reach

another roundabout, the venue will be to your right, a white

and grey building with the curved sports hall roof visible and

'Durham University Sports' written on the side.
